Before the Duct Tape
Kate wanted to be a butterfly for Halloween and my plan was to make Case be a bumblebee or a caterpillar, but he wasn't having it. He wanted to be a backhoe and no one could change his mind. So about two days before Halloween I decided that the boy will only be two years old once, so I pulled a couple of late nights and got it done. I used the boxes we had laying around and bought yellow and black duct tape to hold it all together. It was the most adorable thing to watch him. He thought it was industrial or something so he beeped when he backed up and tried to use his bucket to lift things. It was definitely worth the hours of exhaustion!
Kate also loved her butterfly wings and they were both a crack-up at the ward trunk or treat.
